The most expensive chocolate bar which auctioned for about ₹45,000 ($687), was a 100-year old Cadbury's chocolate bar, according to the Guinness World Records. The chocolate went on Captain Robert Scott's first Discovery expedition to the Antarctic. The 10-centimetre-bar, wrapped and uneaten in a cigarette tin, was bought by an anonymous buyer at Christie's, London, UK on September 25, 2001.
