Most Indians feel safer with stray dogs, guards will tell how dogs help: Advocate in SC

Senior Advocate Colin Gonsalves, representing animal welfare NGOs, told the Supreme Court that most Indians feel safer with stray dogs. He said, "At night, the guard will sleep, the dog will be awake. Guards will tell you how...stray dogs protect the establishment." He raised concerns about inhumane treatment of stray dogs, saying, "Raping of dogs by humans...is a common practice."
