Anukalp Mishra and his brother-in-law, Lavkush Mishra, who have been arrested over the alleged theft of donation money from Ayodhya's Ram Temple, were involved in most of the alleged embezzlement at the temple, Times Now reported. The embezzlement levels reportedly increased following the Mahakumbh Mela. The religious gathering was held in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26, 2025.
