Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday announced a ₹250 "shagun" (token amount given as a blessing) on Raksha Bandhan to beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana, in addition to the ₹1,250 monthly instalment. He made the announcement while addressing a function in Belkheda village in Jabalpur. Yadav also transferred ₹1,551.44 crore as June's instalment to 1.27 crore beneficiaries.
