Madhya Pradesh has formed its 6th State Finance Commission to strengthen local governance and fiscal management. Led by Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya, it will recommend resource distribution and improve the finances of panchayats and urban bodies. It will also enhance funding for infrastructure, services and grassroots development.
