The Madhya Pradesh government has announced a holiday on Maharana Pratap Jayanti. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan hailed Pratap saying he defeated foreign invaders 18 times. Chouhan further said that a statue of Rani Padmavati will be built at Manua Bhan Ki Tekri. He added that all cases filed against protesters seeking ban on 2018 film 'Padmaavat' will be withdrawn.
