Madhya Pradesh Congress government on Tuesday made it mandatory for industries seeking various incentives from the state government to provide 70% employment to locals. Firms which took land and other facilities by the former BJP government have also been asked to follow the new policy, reports said. Congress had promised employment for the locals in its 2018 Assembly elections manifesto.
