MP High Court seeks funds for 3-yr-old girl's neuromuscular disorder treatment

Madhya Pradesh High Court has asked the Centre and the state government to help fund the treatment of a three-year-old girl suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 2, a rare neuromuscular disorder. The case relates to Anika Sharma, whose petition said the injections required for SMA treatment cost about ₹9.55 crore. Nearly ₹8 crore has been raised through campaigns.
