MP's son tests negative for drugs after crash in Hyd, avoids arrest

Preliminary alcohol and drug tests on Lingamaneni Sanjush, son of Andhra Pradesh MP Lingamaneni Ramesh, were negative after he was booked in connection with woman's death after car allegedly driven by him hit her. Police said there were no grounds for Sanjush's immediate arrest and instead served him a notice under BNSS' Section 35, directing him to cooperate with investigation.
