A pregnant woman lost her newborn after giving birth on a handcart on the way to a hospital in MP's Sidhi district. The woman's family said they were forced to take her in the handcart as the ambulance didn't arrive on time. The government issued show-cause notices to concerned officials and announced that the ambulance company would be fined.
