MS Dhoni's brand value drops by 48% in a year: Forbes

According to Forbes list of most valuable sports brands of 2016, MS Dhoni's brand value has suffered a 48% year-on-year decrease, going from $21 million to $11 million. An athlete's brand value is their earnings, minus the average income of that sport's top ten athletes. Dhoni, the only Indian on the list, has been placed tenth in the athletes' category.
