In Panvel, the Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested Sandeep Daware, deputy executive engineer, and Pratamesh Chowgle, junior engineer, of MSEDCL for allegedly taking a bribe of ₹1.84 lakh from a contractor. The two MSEDCL officials allegedly demanded ₹92,000 each from the contractor for processing payment and conducting a site visit.
