The Supreme Court has reiterated that the provisions of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Development) Act, 2006, have an overriding effect over the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. The Court noted that even the agreement between the parties stands overridden by the statutory provisions under the MSMED Act.
