Elon Musk posted on X, "Much appreciated! We will do our best to serve the people of India with Starlink." Musk's post came after Telecommunications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia confirmed India will allot spectrum for satellite internet through an administrative process instead of an auction. Earlier, Musk had said "that would be unprecedented" in case India went for satellite spectrum auction.
