Muhammad Ali’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star is the only one to be placed on a wall and not the sidewalk, after he requested that his name not be walked upon. The 2.5km-long-sidewalk in California commemorates over 2,500 people from the entertainment industry by inscribing their names on stars. Ali’s star was included after boxing was categorised under ‘live performance’.
