Malaysia's King Abdullah has appointed former interior minister Muhyiddin Yassin as the country's new Prime Minister after 94-year-old Mahathir Mohamad resigned from the post, a move that plunged the country into crisis. The 72-year-old will be sworn in on Sunday. Muhyiddin's position could still depend on being able to win a confidence vote in parliament.
