The board of Reliance Jio on Tuesday approved the appointment of Akash Ambani as the Chairman of the company's board. Meanwhile, the company announced that Mukesh Ambani has resigned as Director effective June 27, 2022. The board has further approved the appointment of Pankaj Mohan Pawar as Reliance Jio's Managing Director for a period of five years.
