Mulshi Dam water to be diverted to Solapur via ₹500 cr tunnel

Maharashtra is considering a ₹400-500 crore tunnel to divert water from Mulshi Dam towards drought-hit areas of eastern Pune and Solapur districts. The proposal could make around five TMC available for drinking water, irrigation and livestock. It has received in-principle approval, but funding and technical details remain undecided.
