Multi-agency operation targeting cannabis currently underway in Parvati valley

A multi-agency operation including Narcotics Control Bureau, ITBP, state police, and forest department targeting illicit cannabis cultivation is underway in Himachal’s Parvati Valley. The crackdown aims to stop illegal cultivation & prevent drugs sourced elsewhere from being sold as Parvati Valley hash. At least 592 acres of illegal cannabis crops have been destroyed in Kullu in last two months.
