Mumbai added 15 new billionaires this year, surpassing New York (14) and London (9), according to Hurun Global Rich List 2026. The city remains the main centre of wealth in India and currently houses 95 billionaires. At present, India has 308 billionaires, with 57 new billionaires added in a year, which is the highest increase outside the US and China.
