Mumbai auto, taxi fares increase from today

Autorickshaw and taxi fares have increased in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region from today. Passengers will have to pay a minimum fare of ₹27 for an auto-rickshaw and ₹33 for a black-and-yellow taxi. The revised fare for a taxi will be ₹21.90/km and ₹18.22/km for an auto-rickshaw. An extra 25% fare hike will apply to journeys between midnight and 5 am.
