On June 8, Mumbai Metro 1 completed 11 years of operations in the city and recorded 444 daily trips with a weekday ridership averaging 5 lakh. Since its inception in 2014, the corridor has ferried over 111 crore commuters, covering 1.45 crore km. The Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar corridor reported more than 12.66 lakh train trips.
