Mumbai may soon boast the longest Metro corridor in India as MMRDA plans a 38-km line from Badlapur to Kanjurmarg via public-private partnership. With construction expected by 2026, the Metro Line 14 aims to serve 7 lakh daily commuters, improve monsoon resilience, and connect central and eastern suburbs.
