A man and his girlfriend were detained by the Mumbai police on Friday for allegedly murdering Fahim Syed alias Fahim Machmach, 42, a local goon from Malwani, after he molested the man’s girlfriend. The couple was apprehended while attempting to flee the city and will be handed over to Malwani police. Syed had been missing since April 17.
