Mumbai-Pune Expressway 'Missing Link' opens, will cut travel time by 30 minutes

The 13.3 km-long Mumbai-Pune Expressway 'Missing Link' project was inaugurated by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on Friday. Built at an estimated cost of ₹6,695 crore, the Missing Link will shorten Mumbai-Pune distance by around 6 kilometres and cut travel time by 20-30 minutes. The project includes a 650-meter-long cable-stayed bridge over Tiger Valley, with pillars reaching up to 184 metres.
