Mumbai witnessed lowest temperature in the last three years with the mercury dropping to 12.5°C on Wednesday. "There is cold breeze blowing from the northwest as well as from the north that has caused the mercury to plunge to this level," said an officer from Regional Meteorological Centre. The day temperature has also remained on the lower side, he added.
