The Union Cabinet has now approved the construction of the third and fourth railway lines between Badlapur and Karjat, a section that forms part of the Mumbai suburban corridor. This aims to improve connectivity and ease congestion. Work on the Ghatkopar station upgrade is also moving ahead steadily for smoother passenger movement.
