BMC has sent a ₹22 crore notice to Mumbai's iconic Taj Mahal Palace hotel for installing barricades along footpaths and roads after the 26/11 terror attack in 2008. The barricades were laid around the hotel to obstruct direct access to the premises, and the fines have been accumulating since then. The hotel management has sought a waiver for the charges.
