Mumbai is set for a major pedestrian upgrade as the BMC launches a ₹100-crore footpath revamp across 14 key roads. The project includes smoother walkways, ramps, tactile paths, modern signages, and IRC-standard designs crafted by urban planners. Aimed at improving walkability and accessibility, these "model footpaths" will first roll out on select pilot roads across the city.
