Mumbai toddler dies after SUV hits tricycle, driver gets bail

A 2.5-year-old boy, Krishiv Mandavia, died after an SUV allegedly rammed his tricycle in Mumbai's Borivali West on November 4. The toddler was trapped between two cars and suffered fatal injuries. Driver Dr Sameer Parekh was arrested but granted bail the next day. The court reportedly questioned the police for invoking only bailable sections while seeking custody.
