A roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) ferry service connecting Mumbai and Vijaydurg is set to begin on March 1. The service is expected to significantly reduce travel time for those heading from Mumbai to the Konkan region in Sindhudurg district. Passengers can board the ferry with their two-wheelers and four-wheelers at Ferry Wharf (Bhaucha Dhakka) and disembark at Vijaydurg.
