Mumbai woman, 84, walks within 48 hours of spine surgery

An 84-year-old woman regained the ability to stand and walk with support within 48 hours of spine surgery at Apex Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai. She was admitted with severe back pain and leg tingling caused by a T12 vertebral fracture compressing nearby nerves. Doctors performed surgery to stabilise the fracture and relieve nerve pressure.
