The Bombay High Court has reduced a woman's monthly maintenance from ₹25,000 to ₹5,000 after her husband proved in court that she lied about her employment status. He showed her income tax documents to reveal she was earning around ₹50,000-60,000 a month. In 2014, the woman had sought a higher maintenance claiming she had no source of income.
