The fare for Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train would be around ₹3,000, Achal Khare, the Managing Director of the National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd said on Thursday. "Upon completion, the bullet train will make 70 trips, 35 on each side between 6-12 am," he added. The present estimates suggest that the cost of the entire project would be ₹1.08 lakh crore.
