The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has approved the proposal to extend the Chheda Nagar flyover to Thane. "The proposed 13-km-long and 3+3 lane elevated bridge will start from Chheda Nagar in Ghatkopar East and end at Anandnagar, Thane," a statement read. Currently, the flyover connects Chheda Nagar Junction in Ghatkopar to Santacruz Chembur Link Road (SCLR) flyover.
