The Versova-Ghatkopar Metro line in Mumbai, which resumed service on October 19 after a seven-month-long break, sees over a lakh commuters in a week. While around 98,000 commuters took the Metro between October 19 and 23, close to 30,000 commuters travelled via the 11.5-km corridor during weekend. Before the pandemic, approximately 4.5 lakh commuters travelled via Metro on weekdays.
