Murali Sreeshankar wins Asian Games long jump silver by just 1 cm

India's Murali Sreeshankar won silver in the men's long jump at Asian Games 2026 with a best leap of 8.07 metres, finishing just one centimetre ahead of bronze medallist Anvar Anvarov of Uzbekistan. China's Shi Yuhao won gold with 8.17 metres. Sreeshankar sprained his ankle on his fourth attempt and withdrew from his final two jumps.
