Murty Trust gives ₹7.5 cr to Pune's BORI to preserve rare Sanskrit books

Infosys Co-founder Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murty's foundation, Murty Trust, has announced a grant of ₹7.5 crore to Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute (BORI), Pune for preserving and promoting research of rare Sanskrit and Prakrit books and manuscripts. The grant covers the construction of an academic and research building. "BORI is...pillar of India's cultural heritage," Sudha said.
