Museum creates 3D scan of inside of Apollo 11

US-based Smithsonian Institution has created a 3D scan of the inside of the Apollo 11 Command Module to mark the 47th anniversary of the first ever moon landing by humans. The scan explores the spacecraft’s insides in virtual reality. Apollo 11 carried​ astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and Michael Collins, and landed on the moon on July 20, 1969.
