Veteran music composer MS Viswanathan (87) died in Chennai on Tuesday. Viswanathan had composed music for more than 1,700 films in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, and had also worked with MG Ramachandran, M Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa. His funeral will take place on Wednesday morning in Chennai. The composer is survived by his four sons and three daughters.
