Musk says Tesla, SpaceX staff can take 'Juneteenth' off without pay

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced that from now on ‘Juneteenth’, which commemorates the end of slavery in the US, would be considered a holiday. He added employees would be required to use their paid-time-off for it. An email sent to employees on June 19 said they could take the day off as excused absence without pay, reports said.
