Elon Musk's Starlink has received its Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite (GMPCS) licence from Department of Telecommunications (DoT), according to reports. Starlink fulfilled all security compliance requirements outlined in its Letter of Intent. Starlink is the third company to get a licence from DoT after Eutelsat's OneWeb and Reliance Jio to provide satcom services in the country.
