US-based SpaceX is in talks to raise up to $1 billion in a series N round at a valuation of $44 billion, according to reports. The funding would help SpaceX begin commercial operations of its Starlink satellite broadband service and conduct suborbital test flights of its Starship rocket prototype. The Elon Musk-led startup has launched 540 Starlink satellites to date.
