Muslim family in J&K's Udhampur crafts thousands of diyas for Diwali

In an example of communal harmony ahead of Diwali, Mohammad Farooq and his family in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur are making thousands of traditional clay diyas for the festival. The Muslim family from Baishti village is continuing a pottery tradition that has sustained them for over 35 years. "I work alongside my two sons and a helper," Farooq said.
