Union Minister Chirag Paswan said his own blood split the Lok Janshakti Party into two: his Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras' Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party. He denied BJP and JD(U)'s role in the 2021 split. "If my chacha accepted me as his son, no third party could split my party and family," Paswan said.
