Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai delivered a commencement speech to Class of 2020 through YouTube, where he said, "My father spent a year's salary on my US ticket so I could attend Stanford." Pichai said, "America was expensive. A phone call back home was $2 a minute." He added, "A backpack cost the same as my dad's monthly salary."
