The extensive make-up for the 90-year-old character in the upcoming film, 'Kapoor and Sons', cost ₹2 crore, according to actor Rishi Kapoor, who is playing the role. Director Shakun Batra said, "Our biggest expense has been Rishiji’s make-up." Notably, Kapoor's makeup is done by Greg Cannom, who also worked on Brad Pitt’s look for 'The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button'.
