Covishield maker Serum Institute's CEO Adar Poonawalla shared a childhood picture with his father Cyrus Poonawalla on Twitter after the government named him as a Padma Bhushan awardee for 2022. Adar wrote, "I thank the government of India for acknowledging my mentor, my hero, my father." He also congratulated all "deserving individuals who will receive the Padma awards this year".
