Hyderabad-based Apollo Hospitals' neurologist Dr Sudhir Kumar tweeted, "I was also a young practitioner 20 years back...My salary 4 years after DM Neurology (2004) was ₹9,000/month." He added, "This was 16 years after joining MBBS." He was responding to a Twitter user who had said "It's not easy for a young practitioner to do social service".
