Mysore Paints & Varnish Ltd (MVPL) has supplied indelible ink to the Election Commission since 1962. It generated ₹28 crore in FY17, ₹24 crore in FY18, jumped to ₹61 crore in FY19 before falling to ₹21 crore in FY20. In FY23, revenue was ₹29 crore and ₹80 crore is expected in FY24. Revenue depends on population and voter turnouts.
